PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY AND IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 PLEASE ALSO PASS THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO YOUR PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

If you do not agree to grant Connect India the rights set out below, unfortunately we shall not be able to accept your story.

Where you submit a story to Connect India via email or any other form of transferable communication you agree, by submitting your contribution, to grant Connect India a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution.

In addition please note that by submitting a story you are confirming that:

You understand that Connect India has the right to edit, accept, or reject the story;
The submission reflects a real-life experience or event in the lives of a family member;
You have permission to share the said family member's story;
If you are under 18, you have obtained your parent or guardian's permission to submit the story;
The story is not defamatory;
Your story does not infringe any law;
You will indemnify Connect India against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by Connect India as a result of publishing your story; and
You waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purposes of its submission to and the publication on the Connect India website.
