Though it may be difficult
to imagine, when we become old, when we become grandparents,
will we not want to share our childhood stories with
our grandchildren? But we will ask ourselves whether
or not they will be interested in hearing them.
Some of our grandparents have moved countries.
Some of them were thrown out of their country. You could
write about age-old love stories, about hardships, about
adjustment, about your grandparents as children growing
up in India, in Africa or wherever they may have been.
What games did they play? Who did they go to school
with? How did it feel to get married to somebody they
didn't know when they were so young?
Only you can find out the answers to these
questions, whether you're nine, sixteen or twenty five.
Your grandparents want to share their life histories
with you. Speak to them and find out. Let them relive
those moments with you.
Write a story and send it to us.
